American Baseball Academy
Will be conducting tryouts for ages 9u -18u to play internationally once or twice a year.
There will be a $500 Player Registration Fee due once your player has been selected to the team.
Custom USA Gloves will be available for $150 (Japanese Kip Leather)
This fee will cover uniforms, Swag, and cover coaches travel fees.
Not included will be the cost of travel per player, each player/family will be responsible for their travel.
ABA will coordinate travel so that players can fly together and stay in the same hotel.
All Players will need a passport in order to travel internationally to play in these events.
Tournament locations will be updated yearly.
Teams that are formed for these events will not practice on a regular basis or play together on a regular basis. These will be true National Teams that show up to play some of the best competition the world has to offer.
American Baseball Academy is a part of the World Organization of Baseball Events, its members host tournaments all through Latina America including right here in DFW.
ABA Teams will also be invited to play in the DFW Youth World Baseball Classic August 1-4 2025

Those age groups have the following Birth Year Requirements
15-16U (2009-2010) Can not be 16 before Sept. 1 2024 going to Dominican Rep. (Nov. 20-29)
17U (2007) & 18u (2006) going to Guatemala (Dec. 11-20)
12U is (2012) going to Puerto Rico (Dec. 26-30)
Tryouts for these events will be Oct. 16 (7pm to 9pm, locations is Waxahachie Sports Complex)
Additional information regarding PPS’s WORGBEV Age Divisions:
players are eligible for an age division based on the calendar year they are born (Jan 1 - Dec 31). The age division is NOT the same as you would see in local/domestic sanctioned tournaments. See age divisions for 2025 tournaments
