American Baseball Academy 

Will be conducting tryouts for ages 8u -18u to play internationally once or twice a year

There will be a non refundable $200 tryout fee. In the event your player is selected to a team from this round of tryouts they will be expected to participate in the final selection event Nov. 22-23 in DFW Texas. Players selected from this event will be on the travel squad to play internationally and on the team for Youth World Baseball Classic. All international travel expenses for the players will be covered. Parents will be expected to cover their own travel if they choose to go. The DFW Youth World Baseball Classic will be an additional $250 to participate. Participation in the DFW WBC is a requirement to travel internationally.

Custom USA Gloves will be available for $150 (Japanese Kip Leather)

ABA will coordinate travel so that players can fly together and stay in the same hotel. Families will need to book their own travel. This is a team trip and we will travel as a team. 

All Players will need a passport in order to travel internationally to play in these events. Puerto Rico Events do not require a passport.

Tournament locations will be updated yearly. 

Teams that are formed for these events will not practice on a regular basis or play together on a regular basis. These will be true National Teams that show up to play some of the best competition the world has to offer. 

American Baseball Academy is a part of the World Baseball Federation, its members host tournaments all through Latina America including right here in Dallas Texas. 

ABA Teams will also be required to play in the DFW Youth World Baseball Classic August 1-4 2025
