American Baseball Academy 

Will be conducting tryouts for ages 9u -18u to play internationally once or twice a year

There will be a non refundable $175 tryout fee, This is a fee designed to help cover administrative cost like travel insurance and other misc. items that our organization occurs. 

There is a flat fee to participate per person that is traveling of $2700 For Latin American trips.  This includes uniforms, swag, Coaches and Staff Travel, Flight, Transportation, and Lodging. Trips to Europe, Australia and China will listed below. If we are able to secure a resort, meals are included. If not, meals will be separate.  Payment is due upon selection. There will be No Refunds for any reason! 

Custom USA Gloves will be available for $150 (Japanese Kip Leather)

ABA will coordinate travel so that players can fly together and stay in the same hotel. Families will not be allowed to book their own travel. This is a team trip and we will travel as a team. 

All Players will need a passport in order to travel internationally to play in these events. Puerto Rico Events do not require a passport.

Tournament locations will be updated yearly. 


Teams that are formed for these events will not practice on a regular basis or play together on a regular basis. These will be true National Teams that show up to play some of the best competition the world has to offer. 


American Baseball Academy is a part of the World Organization of Baseball Events, its members host tournaments all through Latina America including right here in DFW. 

ABA Teams will also be invited to play in the DFW Youth World Baseball Classic August 1-4 2025

Additional  information regarding PPS’s WBF Age Divisions: 

players are eligible for an age division based on the calendar year they are born (Jan 1 - Dec 31). The age division is NOT the same as you would see in local/domestic sanctioned tournaments. See age divisions for 2025 tournaments 

(Tournament dates and locations will be set by Dec. 1st, 2024)


Tryouts for these events and age groups will be Feb. 15th times and travel locations listed below. Please arrive 30 min early to check in and receive your bib number (Southfork Sports Complex, Parker Tx)
